Jonathan Isaac.

Forward Deployed Engineer · Founder, Island Development Crew

From real-world complexity to working systems.

An operating background in automotive, healthcare, and IT — evolved into AI systems that connect real workflows, bounded implementation, and reviewable evidence.

Huntsville, Alabama · Open to remote conversationsOperations → infrastructure → AI delivery
Selected workReal problems. Useful systems.

A few things worth opening.

Five different problems. Work you can inspect.

Programming Language · Agent Governance

Garnet

Make changes in authority visible.

A capability-bounded programming language for agent-authored code. Its checker surfaces undeclared capability use, its diffs expose widened authority, and its release artifacts give reviewers evidence they can inspect.

Evidence & current limits

Public language, status ledger, and source. Not production-complete.

What it demonstrates

Language Design · Capability Checks · Evidence

Developer Tooling · Open Source

Forge 50

Make the method travel with the work.

Fifty connected agent skills spanning research, architecture, implementation, operations, and verification. IDC's contribution is the integration: explicit boundaries, preserved provenance, exact-revision review, and evidence that travels with the work.

Evidence & current limits

Public signed-content release. Full freshness and ready-to-run gates remain deferred.

What it demonstrates

Agent Tooling · Provenance · Verification

Evidence Review · Decision Support

Crosswalk

Show the work behind the claim.

An evaluator workspace that brings portfolio artifacts, credential sources, interview observations, and evidence gaps into one reviewable record. Built to help people assess demonstrated capability without pretending software can award a degree.

Evidence & current limits

Navigable example workspace. Review support, not accreditation or an equivalency credential.

What it demonstrates

Evidence Design · Workflow UX · Human Review

AI Visibility · Observation Systems

ATOLL

Keep observations separate from assumptions.

A GEO workspace connecting site analysis, content generation, citation observations, and refresh decisions. A public ledger exposes dated observations and keeps unverified rows out of the displayed results.

Evidence & current limits

Dated public observations; provider coverage is partial. Full service readiness is not established.

What it demonstrates

Observability · Source Records · AI Workflows

Forward Deployed Engineering

HSVAIA

Start with the operator's actual work.

Huntsville AI Accelerator translates an operator's workflow into a bounded proof sprint, then pairs integration with training and an accountable handoff. It is the clearest expression of my forward-deployed engineering direction.

Evidence & current limits

Public service approach. No claim of government contracts, partner endorsements, or verified client outcomes.

What it demonstrates

Workflow Discovery · Integration · Training

A public page is an invitation to inspect—not a claim that every product is production-complete. Each project’s own evidence and limitations take precedence.

The through-line

The work started
before the software.

Automotive operations taught me to diagnose under pressure. Healthcare taught me that a system’s details are somebody’s daily life. IT taught me to leave behind something the next person can maintain.

Forward-deployed engineering is the next expression of that same work: understand the environment, find the useful intervention, build it into the existing workflow, and make the handoff clear.

Island Development Crew LLC began in 2024, with the full AI product-development pivot in late 2025. The career didn’t disappear. It became the context.

The methods behind the work.

Uncle Bob Skills

Engineering principles translated into portable agent skills, practical checks, and explicit human decisions. IDC’s adaptation preserves its sources and makes review boundaries visible.

Inspect the skill system ↗

Inspired by published engineering principles; no endorsement or coauthorship implied.

ARCHIPELAGO

A build protocol that makes handoffs explicit: typed artifacts, evidence gates, and a record of how work crosses each boundary. The operating method is inspectable alongside the code.
